The inaugural Russel Prize for Humour Writing was awarded on the 25 June 2015. The biennial prize is awarded for any humorous writing, be it fiction, non-fiction or collections of short stories, poetry or verse, published in the previous two years.

The shortlisted titles for the inaugural prize are:

• Boomer & Me: a memoir of motherhood and Asperger’s / Jo Case
I, Migrant: c comedians journey from Karachi to the outback / Sami Shah
The Antibiography of Robert F. Menzies / Bernard Cohen
The Full Ridiculous / Mark Lamprell
The Wife Drought: why women need wives, and men need lives / Annabel CrabbHP-MMag-an-20131024153202287857-300x0

And the winner is… The Antibiography of Robert F. Menzies by Bernard Cohen
